Solo:

minerd.exe --url http://127.0.0.1:8800 -a xevan -u yourxxevanworker -p yoursecretpassword
Pool:
minerd.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinspool.cu.cc:3045 -a xevan -u iGfesGe4VmcgxaQ6n4kxEf1BRV6m4xHfT6 -p x

Cpuminer 2:

PS: i ve set a pool factor of 256 to be more friendly with cpus (and i dont plan to do a ccminer for it)

Cpuminer 3:

This is the home of cpuminer-opt, The optimized CPU miner.

cpuminer-opt now supports 40 algorithms with 20 optimized to use AES_NI and AVX2 on capable CPUs.

cpuminer-opt v3.4.11 is available for download.

Source code:

git: https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt

tarball: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lVSGQYLJIZZnh6VUxJb0FuUDA/view?usp=sharing

Windows binaries

New in V3.4.11

- Groestl algo AES optimized +200%
- Myriad (myr-gr) AES optimized +100%
- fixed zr5
- added xevan algo (Bitsend, BSD) with 35% improvement
- added lyra2zoin (Zoin, ZOI) fully optimized but YMMV

I'm a great fan of that algorithm change. A CPU-mined coin has a lot more interest for me. I guess there is no pool though ?

Do you intend to release the source?
I'm pretty sure that the new XEVAN algo will be added to more miners if there was a source.
Maybe even pools...

This is the Wallet source...

I meant the cpuminer source...

Driver version? Hey Darkjon, What driver version are you using for your AMD cards?

Well, what is your GPU, because your hashrate is simply awesome ?

I got the CPU miner to work. But I cant get sgminer to run properly. What am I not seeing?

I tried solo mining and pool mining:

Pool mining
Bitsend-GPUMiner - yiimp.bat:
Quote
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer.exe --url stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3739 -u iFakhUbs7z7MVwtCnvc9tZr1wdUjyyTo1g -p c=BSD -I 17
pause
This setup runs ok with a good hashrate, however after a while I'm getting "stratum connection interrupted" error.
I tried adding --algorithm xevan to the .bat file but then I immediately get "ulong __OVERLOADABLE__ as_ulong (ushort3);" error and crash.

Solo mining
Bitsend-GPUMiner - solo.bat:
Quote
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer.exe --url http://127.0.0.1:8886 -u miner -p worker -I 17
pause

bitsend.conf:
Quote
rpcuser=miner
rpcpassword=worker
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
#bind=127.0.0.1
#p2pport=8801
rpcport=8886
rpcconnect=127.0.0.2
algo=xevan

server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
This gives me "127.0.0.1 slow/down or URL credentials invalid" error.

Any suggestions what might be wrong? This is driving me crazy hehe =) Thanks

As far as the GPU mining, this works everytime for me..

sgminer -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3739 --algorithm xevan-mod -u X -p c=BSD -I 16

(Replace X with whatever your wallet address is.) I seem to get the best results with yiimp pool, but that's just me.

As far as solo mining, I had to make sure I ran the wallet via command prompt with they --server after the executable. Otherwise it doesn't run in 'server' mode and you can't solo mine.

Has anyone been able to get any of the cpu miners to work on the new AMD Ryzen CPUs? I'd like to test my R7 1700X out with Bitsend, but I can't even get the mining programs to open.... I am admittedly a CPU Mining Noob so I very well may be missing something obvious.

I'll be setting up my Ryzen system on Wens of this week, so I'll try it then.

I was able to get it working with optminer 3.6. I had to learn how to properly setup the batch files... there is always something new to learn. :) I'm getting 103 kh/s with it overclocked to 4.0 Ghz and using 8 cores/threads.  I like that it doesn't lag my system at all, unlike mining other algorithms where I need to allow fewer cores to mine if I wish to still use the system for web browsing etc...

It makes the CPU work harder and run hotter (compared to Cryptonight for example) so I'd recommend having a good aftermarket cooler if you're going to OC and mine on Ryzen.
