I got the CPU miner to work. But I cant get sgminer to run properly. What am I not seeing?

I tried solo mining and pool mining:

Pool mining
Bitsend-GPUMiner - yiimp.bat:
Quote
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer.exe --url stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3739 -u iFakhUbs7z7MVwtCnvc9tZr1wdUjyyTo1g -p c=BSD -I 17
pause
This setup runs ok with a good hashrate, however after a while I'm getting "stratum connection interrupted" error.
I tried adding --algorithm xevan to the .bat file but then I immediately get "ulong __OVERLOADABLE__ as_ulong (ushort3);" error and crash.

Solo mining
Bitsend-GPUMiner - solo.bat:
Quote
export DISPLAY=:0
export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer.exe --url http://127.0.0.1:8886 -u miner -p worker -I 17
pause

bitsend.conf:
Quote
rpcuser=miner
rpcpassword=worker
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
#bind=127.0.0.1
#p2pport=8801
rpcport=8886
rpcconnect=127.0.0.2
algo=xevan

server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
This gives me "127.0.0.1 slow/down or URL credentials invalid" error.

Any suggestions what might be wrong? This is driving me crazy hehe =) Thanks

As far as the GPU mining, this works everytime for me..

sgminer -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3739 --algorithm xevan-mod -u X -p c=BSD -I 16

(Replace X with whatever your wallet address is.) I seem to get the best results with yiimp pool, but that's just me.

As far as solo mining, I had to make sure I ran the wallet via command prompt with they --server after the executable. Otherwise it doesn't run in 'server' mode and you can't solo mine.

I have tried the suggested :
"""
As far as the GPU mining, this works everytime for me..
sgminer -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3739 --algorithm xevan-mod -u X -p c=BSD -I 16
"""

It actually works, fuck sake this is a miracle.
Why the hell do you use xevan-mod though and not just simple xevan? I dont get this ?

When you  mine SOLO i used to use xevan but never xevan-mod?

I dont understand all of this complicated jazz it never makes sense, some of the getting started guides on the pools dont even explain what -k {algo} to use so i mean it is just ridiculous.

Like I posted on the other thread there is probably a ccminer version capable of working on nvidia devices, can't verify it thou since compiling the repository is a pain in the ass.

What about https://github.com/LIMXTEC/xevan_ccminer ?
anyone tested this one?

I'm still waiting for some official statement or any answer, but it somehow seems that theres no support here.

I hope that what I will say next will help some less programming-savvy users like me:
1. at this moment there is no point to use a CPU to mine Xevan/X17 based coin(s) - it isn't feasible (excepting the case you have access to indecent amounts of CPU power in some cloud AND you don't pay for electricity).
2. I managed to compile xevan-ccminer on ubuntu 16.04 for my sorry-ass Nvidia GeForce GT 730 card (the 2048 MB DDR3 64-bit model) after a lot of fragmented searches through forums, wiki pages and Nvidia-jargon-loaded pages... On suprnova.cc i get around 385-415 kH/s ... according to my miner's report anyway (in terminal, 'cause I didn't get lucky yet to find a block)...
3. key files for successful compilation (and running) were build.sh and Makefile.am (one really needs to edit only the last one if s/he has the correct driver AND Nvidia toolkit installed);
4. key info can be found on:
    - https://github.com/LIMXTEC/xevan_ccminer -- read and use your brain (it is not rocket science);
    - https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/wiki/Compatibility -- this is some awesome info!!!
Finally, my BSD address for all donations is... iNXcvSwdxcPzQb5RYKs9PTPPe2LY6HEazv

P.S. I will write a short tutorial about this subject if I see interest from community (please try to be patient and polite - nobody here likes a demanding "arschloch") ;)
P.P.S. Donations to dev/airdrop funds are equally appreciated - the choice is yours.

It compiles without problems but xevan algo is removed with the latest commit. With which version you have 385-415 kH/s?
